Shakeel & Tash Toefy

Film directors, photographers, and co-founders of Half & Halve, siblings Shakeel and Tash Toefy have built a production company rooted in creativity, ambition, and family. Shakeel, managing director, brings analytical structure and human-centered creative process built off interaction and individual beauty. Tash, lead creative, oversees production from shoot day to final handoff, specializing as director of photography, editor, and colorist. With Tash's background in English, Film & Media, and Gender Studies from UCT (2019), they've created space where creative exploration provokes emotion through artistic work. They drive culture forward by proving young people of color can build successful creative businesses, creating home where team becomes family and passion meets consistent excellence.
