Biography
BIO: DJ, culture curator, and artist liaison Hluma Shoko (Not A She) works at the intersection of music, storytelling, and community building. Using sound, graphic design, and experience design as tools for expression, connection, and healing, they create spaces where people feel reflected, affirmed, and imagine new possibilities. With background in marketing, advertising, and graphic design, they build platforms for emerging Black creatives through DJing, curatorial work, workshops, and digital series empowering creatives with branding and marketing skills. They drive culture forward by proving creative careers are viable pathways, inspiring young Black kids to dream beyond circumstances, showing communities that creativity deserves support and investment, contributing to generational healing.
