Biography
Multimedia fine artist and co-founder of AA Gallerie, Azeezah Muhammad creates work centered on introspection, interrogation of self, and analysis of mindscapes. Working primarily in black inks with rich abstract forms and lines, she draws from rich compositions, plays on scale, distortion of perspective, and interplay of color and texture. Her non-representational works explore intangible concepts like emotion through personal experience, allowing viewers to create their own stories through visceral engagement with shape, line, and color. She drives culture forward by creating art free from preconceived notions, giving every viewer entirely different experience, proving artistic practice and finance careers can coexist without compromise.
