My creative Journey thus far:
When I started my journey as a photographer in 2023, I had no idea where it would take me. I was experimenting with both studio photography and on-the-road shoots with Amapiano DJs trying to find my style and make a name for myself. I spent countless hours learning, practicing, and pushing myself to improve with every shot. One of my biggest milestones so far has been working with Grade Africa on their sneaker collection. That opportunity was huge for me it gave me a taste of working with a recognized brand and showed me that I could compete in this space. But I know this is just the beginning. Right now, I’m still working my way into the streetwear photography scene, trying to land projects with major brands like Puma and Adidas. It’s not easy, but I’m constantly learning, refining my craft, and networking to make those connections happen. Every shoot, every challenge, and every new experience is a step forward. My journey as a creative is still unfolding, and I’m embracing every lesson along the way.
My Superpower
My creative superpower as a photographer is my ability to capture authenticity and emotion in every shot. Whether I’m in the studio or on the streets, I use this skill to bring out the raw essence of my subjects, making each image feel alive and real. I see photography as more than just taking pictures it’s about storytelling, creating moments that resonate, and making brands and individuals feel seen in a way that’s true to their identity. This superpower helps me connect with the streetwear culture I’m passionate about and allows me to bring a unique perspective to every project I take on.

When I’m working alone as a photographer, I thrive on having full creative control. I enjoy the freedom to experiment, trust my instincts, and push my vision without limitations. Whether I’m in the studio perfecting lighting setups or on the streets capturing raw moments, I move at my own pace, fully immersed in the process. It’s in these moments that I challenge myself the most, refining my style and growing as a creative. But when I collaborate with other creatives, I see it as an opportunity to expand my perspective. I love bouncing ideas off other photographers, stylists, designers, and models, blending different energies to create something fresh and unexpected. Collaboration pushes me out of my comfort zone, allowing me to learn new techniques and see things through a different lens. Whether working solo or with a team, my goal is always to create something impactful, authentic, and visually powerful.

My next creative journey as a photographer is all about leveling up working on bigger campaigns, collaborating with major brands, and pushing my work to new heights. I want to create visuals that make an impact, working closely with models, stylists, and creative teams to bring powerful concepts to life. I also see travel becoming a part of my journey, capturing different cultures, locations, and styles that add depth to my photography. The idea of shooting in new cities, telling stories from diverse perspectives, and seeing my work recognized on a global scale excites me. This is just the beginning, and I’m ready to take every opportunity that pushes me closer to that vision.
