#TheNESTSpace – CAPE TOWN is closing down

its been a great adventure

Greetings everyone.

Dillion & Lunga here, we hope you are all well.

The past 6 months have been amazing for us, we have opened and managed a space in Cape Town CBD for all Young Africans!
Many creatives from around the world have come and shared their ideas, showcased and made new friends and collaborators at the space.
As Creative Nestlings & our partners Blacknation, the space has been a dream that we have fought for years to achieve – albeit short lived.

We are sad to announce that The NEST Space – Cape Town is closing down end of July 2016. We built this space to be self sustainable but the rent was just crippling us at the end here.

We thank everyone that has contributed to the crowdfunding, but we won’t be able to reach our goal as things stand.

We are already hard at work looking for alternative space for our members to work from in Cape Town & Johannesburg.

For those of you looking to hire interesting venues checkout venuehunter.co.za as created by The NEST member Alex Jorgens.
The next week will be active at the #TheNESTSpace – with a host of events from us and creatives around the world taking place.

Be sure to checkout our website or Facebook page for all the upcoming events.

Armed with lessons from this experience, we are going back to the drawing board and reevaluating our business model as a company.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the space and brought life to it. This is not the end, we will be back on the streets of Cape Town with better coffee and our own space again.

Events booked for August and beyond will be refunded.
See you soon.
